I used to be a boy
but now I'm a man.

The world is my oyster.
That's what they've said.
It doesn't feel so heavy,
in the palm of my hand.
Gave it a tap,
gave it a crack.
The pearl spilt out,
and well, shucks,
if I hadn't bricks for hands,
then maybe I might've caught it.
