Today I learned sunflowers are friendship flowers.
You can give them to your lover
you can give them to your sweetie
your friends
or just some newly made acquaintance.
Whoever you like, but
the latter is a particularly nice touch.
You two together can watch your friendship flowers
wilt, wallow, waste, and crumble away.
There is no rush.
